I have the same degree, accreditation and license interior designers at architectural firms, or furniture dealers have. In some cases, I may have more. I also have access to the same drafting software, finishes and furniture that those designers have.
What I can provide for you is personal service and the ability to provide the amount of service needed for your project.
A lot! Your ideas, and goals are the basis for the design.
My goal is to take away any overwhelm of the project, so you can focus on your work. Our project meetings with me give you focused time to review options and answer questions, keeping the project on track with efficient decision making.
I don't want to do each project the same, that would be boring and I like solving problems. It is great fun for me to learn about each client and bring their vision to life.
I prefer certain styles and looks but I'm designing your workspace for you, not for me.
Yes, I can help with furniture placement, social distancing, safety accessories, among other items to help your employees feel safe and remove any fear. I cannot guarantee COVID-19 will be eliminated from your place of work but approved measures will be implemented.
Yes. I'm happy to work with you to provide your employees working from home a safe, productive and inspiring work area.
Thank you for the interest but no.
I have the skill set, knowledge, resources and love for designing commercial office spaces. I do home offices because the office furniture at the big box stores will not stand up to daily use the way commercial office furniture will. I want to provide those working from home the same safe, productive, and inspiring office space they would have at work.
If you do need residential interior design help, I am happy to refer you to a number of talented designers that have a love and expertise for designing homes.
Absolutely! Wellness Rooms can help employees feel supported especially if they are essential workers. It supports their mental health and shows them that you value their needs.
Lactation Rooms are another great way to support your nursing working mothers professional goals, while retaining valuable talent, and communicating your company culture.
No, I do work in the entire state of Wisconsin as well as the northern Chicagoland area. For projects outside a 50 mile radius from my Menomonee Falls office I do charge a trip fee.
With so much being virtual now, projecs can be done outside of this radius. Meetings can be held on line and finishes can be mailed for approval.
Yes! That is something we discuss early on so we both are on the same page. Things I do to accommodate budgets include:
- Completing projects in phases (often creates the most effective designs)
- Provide selections in multiple price points allowing you to decide where you would like to splurge or save
- Being flexible should unknown variables pop up
- Advise on the best way to invest in elements
I do not charge by the hour. I find that it prevents my clients and I from being on the same team. Each holds back trying to be mindful of cost which harms the final result.
What I do for my design service fee is, after all the needed information is collected, and the full scope of work is mutually established, a proposal will be sent. It will provide multiple project options and associated fees from which you can select the best fit for your goals.
I charge for my design time services only, so you know I am not making selections based on any outside sources.
Absolutely! Please contact me and after learning what your needs are Iwill present you with service options and associated interior design fees in line with what we discussed.
My favorite projects are when I collaborate with my clients, I can advocate for them, and I can bring their vision to life.
I love to hear my clients say, "I never would have thought of that!" or "We get so many compliments." or "Our space works so well for what we needed."
Projects have varied from liturgical, elementary education, private offices, and a small business with a staff that flexed from 15-100 depending on their work. Each one brought different clients, needs and goals that was so much fun to learn about and create.
You can fill out my assesement for some thought starters to get clear on what items are important to you.
